Our journey began in 1976 with the maritime dream of our father, Captain İskender — a vision shaped by the sea and passed down as a way of life. The knowledge, discipline, and respect for the ocean that we inherited from him formed the foundation of our upbringing as a true seafaring family. This legacy continues to define the values and philosophy of Thames Yachting today.
In 2006, under the leadership of Şeref Dursun, this long-standing maritime heritage evolved into a corporate identity with the establishment of Thames Yachting. Since then, the experience gained across ship, motor yacht, and sailing yacht operations in seas around the world has been refined into a professional, client-focused service approach for those who see the sea not merely as a destination, but as a lifestyle.
Over the years, we have successfully brokered yacht sales on a scale capable of filling an entire marina, operating across key international markets including France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Turkey. This global reach, combined with deep market insight and strong international partnerships, enables us to deliver not only exceptional yachts, but sound investments and tailored maritime solutions.
In addition, through strategic agreements in countries such as France and Greece, we have brought superyachts of 80 metres and above to Turkey for charter operations. Our experience in the mega and superyacht segment reflects our operational strength and our command of the complex technical, legal, and logistical processes required at this elite level.
